Meet D.C. Phillips

D.C. Phillips has received praise for his dynamic and darkly ironic style, once described as "Flannery O'Connor meets Tales From the Crypt." He established Frightful Fables Press as a way to distribute his own work, connect directly with readers, showcase work he believes in, and encourage fellow lovers of all things frightful to pursue their dreams... er, nightmares.

D.C. lives in Atlanta, Georgia with his husband and two dogs. He cites Southern Gothic culture and classic horror as two of his major influences. He draws inspiration from his surroundings, from the subtle anxieties of suburbia to the creaky halls of a Victorian manor.

Feel free to reach out to D.C. across social media and via email

"It is just as much fun to scare as it is to be scared."
